YSL-Protect Black Art
300 Entertainment is a prominent New York-based independent record label and management company. It was founded in 2012 by Kevin Liles, Lior Cohen, Todd Moskowitz, and Roger Gold, and was later acquired by Warner Music Group in 2021. The label focuses on artist development across hip hop, rock, and pop, boasting a roster that includes Young Thug, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion, and Fetty Wap.
For this project, I was tasked with creating graphics for the company centered around the RICO case involving rappers Young Thug and Gunna. The concept, titled “Protect Black Art,” explores the impact of holding rap lyrics accountable in a courtroom and highlights how hip-hop music has been placed at the forefront of legal and cultural conversations. The work was developed as an editorial-style visual narrative, combining graphic design, print layout, and visual direction to communicate the intersection of music, law, and artistic expression.
